Location: CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, West Bengal, India

Job Type: Walk-in Interview (30th September – 1st October 2024)

About CSIR-CMERI:
Established in 1958, CSIR-CMERI is the leading R&D institute in the field of mechanical engineering and allied disciplines. Positions Available:
We are conducting a walk-in interview for several project-based roles, including:

  • Project Scientist
  • Senior Project Associate
  • Project Associate-I and II
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • Project Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Depending on the role, selected candidates will engage in diverse projects related to:

  • Robotics and Mechatronics
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Product and Process Design
  • Electronics and Embedded Systems
  • Renewable Energy Technologies

Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, or relevant M.Sc. in fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, or other technical disciplines. Specific qualifications vary by position, including NET/GATE certification for certain roles.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in areas like CAD software, MATLAB, ANSYS, SolidWorks, and hands-on project experience in R&D environments is desirable.

Compensation:
Salaries range from ₹20,000 to ₹56,000 per month depending on the role and experience level.
